Welcome to my Frequently Asked Questions Page. If you’re unfamiliar with an FAQ it’s a great way to answer common questions. It just makes sense to put these questions and answers in an easy to find place. This saves you time and who doesn’t want to save time?
A question that I get asked all the time:
“How much do you charge?”
My honest answer is that it depends on the project, your business, and your business goals. I’m much more interested in setting you up for long term success. That’s why I strive to design Business Solutions with the individual or individuals responsible for a business instead of just creating a website or product for a businesses.
So if you’re only looking for the cheapest solution possible, that’s not me. I'd recommend Wix or 99 Designs.

How much does Web Design cost?
Each project is different because the needs of each business are different. Don't let cost be the only factor that you consider when choosing a Web Designer or Design solution.
I usually charge a flat fee upfront. My most basic web design service starts at $1,000 and delivers a fully functioning website for your business. For a larger and more complex website I will create a customized quote based upon the work that will go into the project and the results your business needs.
A few other Web Design costs you should know.
Domain Registration
A domain name is the URL or name that a customer types into the address bar of their browswer to go to your website. The cost of registering a domain name for your website varies but can be anywhere from $10 to $30 for 1 year registration.
Important: Registration must be renewed every year, or on the renewal date, prior to the expiration otherwise you risk losing your domain permanently. I can manage domains and registration for you.
Website Hosting
The files for your website have to be stored on a server. This storage process is called Hosting. The cost of hosting your website can also vary depending on who hosts it. There are numerous companies out there that provide hosting. I offer hosting as part of my monthly subscription.
Hosting Subscription
Hosting is my most basic subscription plan and is $25/month. You are not required to purchase hosting services through me as long as your current host is compatible with Wordpress or whatever platform we choose to create your website on.
Web Hosting Affiliate Services
If you’re looking for hosting service or want to host your website yourself I recommend the company that I use, Fatcow. They’re servers are 100% Wind Powered! They offer a really easy to use Control Panel with a ridiculous amount of server space. Plus their support team is knowledgeable and very easy to contact.

Maintenance Service & Subscriptions
Maintenance subscription plans include monthly maintenance services for your website. I can manage updates to content and even add pages. Plus I can help you manage your online profiles like Bing Places or Google Business Listings.
What do I get with my website?
A website is made up of many pieces, components, media, and written copy. Too numerous to list here. In simple terms you'll receive a fully functioning website for your business.
My most basic sites include:

Probably the most important feature that I offer with your website is a guarantee. A guarantee that we’ll work together to create the best solution possible for your business and your customers. Something you can be proud of and that your customers will be happy to use.
How long does it take to design a website?
In the best case scenario I can usually complete projects within 30 days if there are no delays. On very large or more time intensive projects it could take up to 6 months. At the beginning of the project I'll present you with a rough timeline so you'll have a better idea of how long it will take.
I strive to work quickly and keep open communication with you during the design process. Quick response times on both our parts will help make this process smoother and faster.
How long until my website sees results?
That depends on the results you’re looking for. A Digital Marketing Strategy can help you achieve the best results. But on average, with or without a strategy, it can take anywhere from 6 months up to 18 months to begin to see results.
Performance Reviews & Strategy
After your website has launched we can schedule a followup meeting to review progress. We'll look for potential areas of improvement or adjustment. Defining and following a marketing plan can be crucial to ensuring your business sees results.
Pay Per Click Advertising
Paid marketing efforts, like Google Ads, are not required but when executed well can help your business see results more quickly.

What results can I expect from my website?
There are many potential actions that you can have visitors take on your website.
- Calling your business
- Signing up for a service or mailing list
- Submitting a form
- Making a purchase
- Paying a bill
- Finding answers about a product
- Registering a product
- Leaving a review
- Signing up for or signing into an account
- Just to list a few
A common action is having new or potential customers call your business. If your website was able to answer their questions your new customer will be calling to potentially make a purchase or take the next necessary step.
This doesn't mean we litter your website with a million choices, but choose a few based on your Strategy and focus on those. With fewer but more relevant choices it'll make a simpler process for your customers. They'll appreciate it too!
Graphic Design Services
How much does Logo Design cost?
Each logo is different because the needs for that logo will vary.
If your business only needs a logo for your website my minimum for Web Only Logo design starts at $250.
A larger and more complex logo project for use in print, web, and a product line would be more expensive. For such a project I'd create a custom quote.
What do you get with your Logo Design?
This often depends upon the complexity of the project. With a basic web logo you would receive only color JPG and PNG files. I can also send these to partners or print services that you work with.
For a more complex logo you can expect to receive:
- Logo Variations from a full logo to a simplified mark.
- Color Variations & Size Variations.
- Vector & Raster Files.
- Multiple File Types like PNG, JPG, EPS, and AI.
- A Style Guide to help companies or services use your logo properly. Without you having to take hours to explain it to them.
However the most important deliverable is my guarantee. A guarantee that we’ll work together to create the best possible logo for your business. If you’re not satisfied I'll help you find a replacement designer!
